1 - CHAPMAN, MICHAEL - FULLY QUALIFIED SURVIVOR - (LP)
LIGHT I/T ATTIC

Fully qualified survivor is a 1970 release by British folk-rock singer-songwriter Michael Chapman, featuring the hit "Postcards of Scarborough." After the critical acclaim Michael Chapman received for Rainmaker in 1969, he followed up quickly in early 1970 with Fully Qualified Survivor, a record more adventurous and haunting than its predecessor, with added production flourishes and equally strong songs. First time reissue in decades! Features a pre-Bowie Mick Ronson on lead guitar and Rick Kemp of Steeleyed Span on bass. Produced by Gus Dudgeon (right after he did Bowie's 'Space oddity' single). Includes Chapman's 'Postcards of Scarborough' - a psychedelic guitar masterwork. Liner notes by Mick Houghton (Uncut) .
